compared to COVID-19

Scott's video has a good discussion, worth the watch.

The impact of COVID could cut both ways.  Companies have less money and maybe conserving cash, but it also means they may be looking for new ways to grow as soon as it is over.  The forward-looking company invests when things are down to take advantage of the recovery.     While small businesses, especially service, companies lost revenue that they cannot recover, products are still being consumed and companies that make consumer products are down but not out.   And given the time to market of any idea, its looking past the virus by the time a licensed idea could hit the market, it should be doing well.

Also the low-risk approach of EN, makes it a great time to try here.  Tradeshows, where a lone inventor might try to find a buyer, are off the table for now and will likely suffer for months.   EN's established contacts give them a real advantage in finding connections at this time.
