Prototype Refinement

Hi All,

I have a working prototype built out of bungee cords.  It's a rough product that needs refinement. I feel like I need an expert advice from a rubber engineer as opposed to an engineer working with CAD and 3D printing.

1. I'm not sure my assumptions are correct, perhaps those who work with 3D printing can assist in this situation. However, I don't think that stretchable products can be printed on a 3D printer.

2. How do I go from a handmade product built out of bungee cords, (it needs to be searchable but also some of the bungee cord parts, ideally would be replace with rubber.) to a product that can be mass-produced? What type of firm can provide assistance?

This is a fun stage. The answers that you come up with are what makes your product of your genius. Chew on that problem and figure it out. Don't let anybody make it easy on you. Search for the answers and the journey will become your story.

All you need to do is get the thing to work and submit the idea to a licensing company. Send what you have to Edison Nation. I bet they can take it from there.
