In light of NASA’s recent tribute this month in honor of the Tuskegee
Airmen, I wanted to pay a personal tribute to my uncle, Lowell Cleaver, one of
the Tuskegee airmen who served as a pilot in WW2! During his tenure, he would garner many accolades including Top
Cadet in Aerobatics and Aerial Gunnery. Here’s
his fascinating story through his daughter’s eyes: https://mylifestory283.wordpress.com/2015/10/01/my-dads-amazing-story-he-was-one-of-the-tuskegee-airmen/

1989. I loved him so much. He was an amazing man and so proud to be a
part of this amazing legacy. Just wanted to share! Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing Saletta. These brave men deserve all the accolades they get. Sadly, our WWII Vets are thinning out quickly. I hope they know how much gratitude we hold for their sacrifices, and how special that you were able to honor him one last time. I will check out the links when I get a few minutes.
