Hey everybody,
Thought I'd drop by for a minute and update y'all on LIttle Roy.
Yesterday Little Roy turned 8 years old! Can you believe it! That means it's been seven and a half years since we first began this journey with his tragedy and miracle.
He is doing great; he's in the second grade (virtually for now); of course he has his own goals and assignments, but he carries on really great conversations, he's funny, compassionate, thoughtful, helpful, he can walk, run (you know, like a hobble run, but don't tell him!), he watches videos, memorizes, can spell some words, swallow, eat anything, and he's even being potty trained.
UGH, you guys are making me cry! After everything he's been through, his goal is to help others and be kind.
He loves God and inspires others to believe and to trust Him. God is great, merciful, and continues blessing us everyday.
Little Roy had the right hemisphere of his brain removed in February 2020. It was so scary going through yet another major brain surgery, but all went well and LIttle Roy no longer has seizures because of the surgery.
Thank you all for the love, support, and prayers for our little man and family. Love you all and really miss everyone here!
God bless you all!
