Just came across this thread from Michelle while going through some of the old forum posts looking for nuggets of wisdom. Bumping it because I think this was a really good idea, and it'd be nice to see it continue/expand. Having people post useful tips they've acquired throughout their inventing careers to a singular thread for others to learn from and add to their "inventors toolbox" seems like an invaluable thread. 

- Something simple I've learned is to always make sure I have a medium with me to jot down ideas on as they pop into my head. More than once I've thought of an idea in the moment based on something within my surroundings, that I really wanted to flush out idea-wise, but by the time I got to where I could put the idea to paper/digital note, I forgot what it was in the first place. Even if I'm in the car and think I'll remember it when I get to my destination, I'll either pull over and jot it down or have Siri make a quick note for me (hands free of course!).
